BETH PEARSON BA (HONS).

AFTER COMPLETING A FOUNDATION COURSE IN EXETER IN THE EARLY 80'S, BETH WENT ON TO GAIN A DEGREE IN FINE ART PAINTING AND PRINTMAKING IN SHEFFIELD.

"MY WORK IS A CELEBRATION OF THE BEAUTY,SPONTANEITY AND INTIMACY WITHIN A FLEETING MOMENT.I AM STRONGLY INFLUENCED BY TRAVEL,HUMAN FORM, HUMAN NATURE,LIVING OUTSIDE AND CONNECTING WITH A MORE "RAW" EXISTENCE.

THE KEY TO MY WORK IS KNOWING PRECISELY WHEN TO LEAVE A PIECE BEFORE IT COULD BECOME OVERWORKED,RETAINING FRESHNESS AND VITALITY".

BETH IS NOW LIVING IN SIDMOUTH AND WORKING FULLTIME AS AN ARTIST.
